Description / Responsibility
Ø Reporting to Project Manager-MNCH Project, the Gender
Specialist- MNCH will be responsible for contextualized development and
implementation of the Gender Equality Strategy for this project.
Ø To provide inputs and support in the project monitoring and
evaluation activities.
Ø To provide technical assistance during process of conduction
of baseline survey and the project gender assessment as well as the project end
line survey.
Ø To provide Technical support during TNA for developing
curriculum and materials on MNCH issues to address the Gender issues including
in training of health service providers.
Ø To provide technical assistance to partner organizations for
developing their gender equality action plans.
Ø To have understanding on Plan as an organization, its
programs, approaches with special emphasis on Plan’s Gender Equality Policy and
its implementation in programs/projects.

Job Requirements
ü For this role, candidate should have at 3 - 4 years’
experience in working on gender equality, child rights and youth and related
projects.
ü Report writing skill is necessary.
ü Experience in working with masculinity, men and boys
engagement and working in diverse cultural settings is desirable but not
mandatory. The position requires at least 40-50% field visits.
